timing

so after two years of this tennis shooting i’ve got my timing down pretty damn well. it helps that my camera shoots 10 frames per second though. chances are you have no idea who this frog is. he is nicolas mahut. you may not know his name but you may have heard of the epic  11 hour match he was half of during the first round of the 2010 wimbledon tournament. sadly he retired from his match against nadal earlier today due to some injury. he was gonna lose anyway. he was down two sets to love and dropped both 6-2. a valiant effort however against the defending champion.

  1. It’s crazy to even see the mechanics of a Pro’s sight-line considering how fast the tennis ball is coming at them.

I have no idea how to shoot sports and have it focused so well. Whether he won or lost the important thing is his hair looks amazing in this shot.
