OnOne Software has released its latest upgrade to PhotoSuite 6.1 I mention it only because prior to this the masking feature of the software has been less than satisfactory. No more a problem. Major improvements in masking have been made. Below a photo I took of a fighter on a studio background. I masked him and placed him inside a photo of an old factory which I toned cool to give some contrast to the subject. Took about five minutes to do this. I then did a Joel Grimes style effect on the photo to give it that gritty look. Having a bit of fun instead of doing the work I’m supposed to be doing.

This is about as seamless of a greenscreen as I have ever seen, if you hadn’t mentioned it, I don’t think I would have known any better.
And to be honest, if you don’t have a little fun in between your work, you’ll never learn anything new to make your work better. I think. It works that way for programming too.
